Claire Bolton

Claire Bolton, PhD, Assistant Director, at the University of Georgia School of Social Work, Center on Human Trafficking Research & Outreach. Dr. Bolton coordinates CenHTRO’s programs in Senegal, Sierra Leone, Zambia, Malawi, and a regional engagement in West Africa. She leads multiple country and regional teams in anti-trafficking program partnerships, linking research to programs and policy, and develops monitoring and evaluation strategy and implementation. She also leads the cultivation of stakeholder relationships, from community-based organizations to national governments. She also facilitates many of CenHTRO’s data collection activities. She brings nine years’ experience in grants management and research to the role, having previously served as the Program Manager for Sierra Leone and Guinea. Her doctorate is in geography.
