Kimberly Hogan is a Social Work Instructor at the University of Southern Mississippi and a current social work Ph.D. Candidate at Arizona State University. Kimberly has a focus on domestic sex trafficking and the therapeutic needs for exiting. She works closely with community groups, including the National Criminal Justice Training Center, AMBER Alert, Navajo Nation, City of Phoenix Starfish Place, Las Vegas Rape Crisis Center, and the Phoenix and Las Vegas Metropolitan VICE Units. She is a single subject matter expert consultant for the United States Department of Justice. Her research work spans the prevention, detection, identification, and treatment of minor and adult sex trafficking victims.
