Sarah Joseph is a trauma therapist (LPCC) and the co-founder of Hope Roots, a non-profit that serves trauma survivors and their caregivers. She is based in Fort Collins, CO, but spent over 10 years of her adult life living and working in India. Through her work at Hope Roots, she has helped develop and teach workshops on trauma for organizations that serve survivors since 2015. At the newly established Fort Collins office, she offers EMDR therapy and other trauma-focused treatments for Colorado residents. Since relocating from India to Colorado in 2019, she has served as the project coordinator for the Northern Colorado Human Trafficking Symposium.
