Victims of Domestic Sex Trafficking have unique needs on their road to recovery which includes a complex support system that is sustainable for long term restoration. This presentation will explore the intrinsic roles that Trauma, Vulnerability and Trust play into a survivors well being as well as give sustainable resources for people interacting with survivors on their journey.
5:00-6:00pm Closing Keynote # 3 Human Trafficking: The Importance of Inclusion, Creativity & Resiliency – Honorable Judge Robert Lung
In this plenary session, Judge Lung will share his insight as a subject matter expert in human trafficking about the importance of inclusion, creativity, and resilience in the practice of combatting human trafficking. Judge Lung will draw from his work as a member and former Chair of the U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking, his work with trafficked youth in juvenile cases as a judge, and from his personal work to define accessible sources of resiliency for survivors and professionals engaged in anti-trafficking work. This plenary session will inform, entertain and, most importantly, inspire the audience.
